—— How do you usually find inspiration for your work?

I am a very intuitive person; my motivation stems from my feelings. I enjoy exploring, and whenever I come across something that looks appealing, I purchase it to incorporate into my daily life. This allows me to experience and study its materials and design, considering how it can be applied in daily environments.

I also find inspiration in the simple act of dishwashing. As a shop owner of handcraft tableware and ceramics, I enjoy the tactile experience of handling each piece, which evokes many feelings and sparks new ideas for my work. By doing this, I can share valuable and honest insights with my customers.

—— How do you normally choose your home/interior items for your home?

I prioritize timeless designs crafted from high-quality materials.

—— Any favorite things/areas of your home/office?

I love gazing at the greenery outside my home, whether I’m basking in sunlight or enjoying the cool shade indoors.

Since I discovered the MOHEIM brand years ago, my home has become a showcase for their products (laugh). Their functional designs and high-quality materials align perfectly with my living philosophy.

One of my all-time favorites is the Yuki Woods, which I use for water, tea, and coffee, even when I’m camping. I also utilize the Tin Box to store my coffee accessories, while the Swing Bin cleverly serves as a trash bin in my living area and bedroom (though no one seems to realize it!). The Trolley is perfect for serving tea, and I truly cherish the discontinued blanket for those cozy moments on the sofa.

—— How was your first impression of MOHEIM? Please let us know what you think about MOHEIM as a brand.

As a designer, I understand that achieving simplicity in design is not easy. Upon seeing MOHEIM’s entire collection, characterized by functional concepts and minimalist forms, I immediately sensed their sensitivity to life and their passion for creating meaningful products for people.

—— What are your favorite things about the LADDER RACK you have welcomed into your home? Also, how do you use it?

I often forget where I’ve placed items in cabinets, so I appreciate being able to organize my personal belongings in a way that keeps them visible. This not only helps me stay organized but also prevents my living space from becoming cluttered.

For over a year, I searched for a stylish and high-quality rack for my accessories. This LADDER RACK, made from exquisite walnut wood, is perfect. I particularly like the non-slip mat on the bottom stand, which is a thoughtful feature for me as a cat owner who cares about my home’s flooring.

Additionally, it integrates beautifully into my home decor.

—— Anything you would expect from MOHEIM’s new item/collection? What kind of products would you like MOHEIM to develop?

I am already impressed by the extensive range of high-quality designs available. I would be thrilled if MOHEIM could develop items specifically for cats.

Additionally, I hope the discontinued BLANKET can be reproduced, as I would love to introduce such a wonderful textile to my clients.
