SHIGEICHIRO TAKEUCHI

1975年　福井県生まれ
2001年　桑沢デザイン研究所卒業
2008年　SHIGEICHIRO STUDIO を設立 家具やプロダクト、空間、グラフィックなどの幅広い分野でデザイン ・ディレクションを手がける。
時代や流行に左右されず、真の美しさや機能性を引き出す古びないデザインを追求し、クライアントやユーザーの多岐にわたるニーズに柔軟に対応する創造力が高い評価を得ている。 Born in Fukui, Japan in 1975
Graduated from Kuwasawa Design School in 2001
Established SHIGEICHIRO STUDIO in 2008 Takeuchi offers creative direction and brand strategy in various fields including furniture, products, spaces and graphics. He pursues designs that would never obsolete and that bring out the authentic beauty and functionality of the materials and techniques. He has gained acclaim for his creativity to satisfy the wants and needs of his clients and users.

イトウケンジとウミノタカヒロにより2008年に結成されたデザインユニット。プロダクト、グラフィックを中心に幅広く活動している。物の背景にある、はっきりとは掴み切れない曖昧な空気を、曖昧なままにしっかりと掴みながら、物事と向き合っている。 MUTE is a design unit founded by KENJI ITO and TAKAHIRO UMINO in 2008.
They have engaged in a wide range of projects in product design and graphic design.
The designers face up to all of the things in life while tightly grasping the ambiguous atmosphere behind the scenes as-is, which would normally be hard to get hold of.
