"GRAIN" is a tableware series designed to savor the raw texture of clay, the subtle speckles on the surface, and the rich, unique feel and character of each piece. The name comes from the countless "grains" scattered across the surface. Holding it, you can feel the warmth and comfort of its gently curved form, crafted by skilled craftsmen to fit naturally in your hand. This comforting texture—defined by the unique look and coarse, granular feel of the clay—is created using recycled clay mixed with crushed pieces of discarded Mino ware, a traditional Japanese ceramic.
