Their favorite item is the WIRE BASKET. Thanks to its ideal size and ease of use, they use it for storing material samples and documents for their projects.

—— What made you decide to use the WIRE BASKET?
In our line of work, as projects move forward, we naturally gather a lot of material samples and documents. We had been looking for something simple and generous in design—something we could just toss anything into without worrying too much. That’s when I came across the WIRE BASKET.
—— How do you find using MOHEIM’s WIRE BASKET?
We use it for all kinds of things—samples, books, and other items we need for work.
It’s not too big, not too small—easy to carry anywhere and just the right size for daily use. We like that we can just toss things in without thinking too much. We love its simplicity: by simply placing things inside, it naturally brings order to my belongings.

—— What do you value most when selecting interior items?
When choosing interior items, we focus on size, material, texture, and overall presence. We select things that we genuinely like and feel we can use for a long time.
For us, bringing together a variety of items in one place is what makes a space feel authentic to who we are.
—— Besides the WIRE BASKET, are there any other MOHEIM products that you’re particularly interested in?
BRICK STAND. We like its simplicity—just a block with some holes—and the way it instantly becomes an umbrella stand the moment you put an umbrella in.
—— How would you describe the image of the MOHEIM brand?
We feel that MOHEIM is a brand that complements people’s everyday lives while enriching their spaces.

Founded in 2014 by Satoshi Arai (born 1984 in Gunma) and Kei Nakatomi (born 1980 in Fukuoka), Kii is an architectural design unit. They design everything necessary to create a space imagined from an architectural perspective, working across architecture, interiors, furniture, and products.
