YUKI Wood & HORN Relaunch with a Fresh New Look

YUKI wood has been one of MOHEIM’s long-standing and most beloved items since the brand’s very first collection.

Starting this season, YUKI wood will be crafted from solid Japanese zelkova, known for its durability and beautiful grain. A new color, Black, will be released in advance from Friday, December 12.

Crafted one by one from solid wood by highly skilled woodturners of Yamanaka—renowned for having the finest techniques in Japan—YUKI wood embodies the beauty of exceptional materials shaped by masterful craftsmanship. Its lightness and the smooth, comforting feel in your hand bring a small sense of joy
every time you use the cup.

The new black YUKI wood, added to the lineup this season, features a minimal and chic look. Despite its deep, jet-black coloring, the distinctive grain of zelkova remains beautifully visible, highlighting the artisanal technique of shaving the wood down to an exceptionally thin profile.

HORN

The simple and stable wall clock HORN is also one of MOHEIM’s long-standing bestsellers from the brand’s first collection.

Starting this season, the movement, hour and minute hands, and dial design have been slightly updated, giving the clock an even sleeker and smarter look.

For this renewal, the hour and minute hands have been made slightly more compact and slim, and the central hardware of the hands has been unified in the same color.

The dial markers have also been moved slightly toward the center, creating an even sleeker and more refined appearance.

The steel frame, crafted using the high-precision spun forming technique from Tsubame-Sanjo in Niigata, adds a sense of lightness, while the flat front and expanded depth of the clock create subtle changes in appearance depending on the viewing angle.

As with previous models, the renewed HORN maintains a natural presence while blending beautifully into its surroundings, almost like a mirror. We invite you to experience this refined elegance in the updated model.
