—— Where do you get inspiration to create your work?

Over the years, I’ve come to appreciate the simple pleasures in life, like spending time at home with my partner and our two cats or enjoying the sun outdoors, rather than chasing material happiness. I’ve filled my home with things that add value to my life and embraced this philosophy in my business. I want people to live a more fulfilling life with products that genuinely enhance their everyday experiences.

——How do you usually choose home or interior items?

Practicality and purpose come first. Aesthetics are important, but if we don’t need it, we won’t buy it. We like a home where every piece has a purpose, tailoring the aesthetic to fit around that. MOHEIM products, with their neutral tones and simple forms, integrate seamlessly into our space.

—— What are the important points of your choices, and does the MOHEIM item align with them?

My favourite room in our home is the front lounge, which features a comfortable couch, a wall shelf, and a coffee bar. It’s a perfect space for relaxing with a cup of coffee, reading, or getting some work done. Unlike our open-plan rear lounge, which connects to the dining room and kitchen, the front lounge is free from TV and other distractions. It’s an intentional space to relax and slow down—a little escape. MOHEIM products blend effortlessly into this environment.

—— What was your first impression of MOHEIM?

My first impression of MOHEIM was that they’re a brand aligned with this vision, creating products with clear intent. Their items are simple and beautiful, with no frills or gimmicks—just purpose-driven design.

—— What do you like most about these MOHEIM items?

The STONEWARE collection is my favourite range from MOHEIM. Each piece showcases a beautifully simple, elegant design—neither overstated nor understated. The minimal form of these pieces manages to be both warm and cosy, yet refined, capturing the essence of a timeless product.
I love the variety of colours and the unique way the stoneware is coloured. Rather than being painted externally, the colour is infused directly into the clay—a clever choice that adds depth. The textures are thoughtfully crafted, with a matte finish on the outside and a lacquered interior, balancing aesthetics with functionality to create a lovely sipping and dining experience.
Also,TIN CADDY is just a wonderful addition to our home. It’s a simple object, beautifully made, the craftsmanship is evident as soon as you hold it. We use it for both coffee and tea, its understated design complements our space perfectly!

—— What would you like to see in MOHEIM’s new collections?

I would love to see MOHEIM develop a coffee dripper and perhaps a teapot. I’d be glad to contribute to the design of the dripper, as coffee brewing and extraction are areas I’m well-versed in. Larger furniture pieces, like a wooden dining set or coffee tables and occasional chairs, would also be exciting additions.
