MOHEIM OWN STORY by Masahiro Tetsuka, who is a project manager at BEAMS CREATIVE INC and a DJ.

—— What is important to you when selecting interior items?

Since interior items are something you see every day, it is important to keep the design simple, and the materials and colors consistent.

—— Are there any aspects of creating a space, such as your own home or office, that you think are unique to you?

I have a habit of collecting, and because the things I collect are colorful and unique, I keep the containers and furniture simple.

—— We are pretty sure you have quite a collection of records in particular. How does your life with records and your taste in favorite music influence your own interior design?

I have my own room where I enjoy decorating it with musical instruments, paintings and so on that match the historical background of the music.

—— What are your thoughts on MOHEIM x BEAMS RECORDS LINDEN BOX for 12 inch Vinyls, which was created from the perspective of record storage, and other LINDEN BOXes?

LINDEN BOX is very convenient because a FLAT DOLLY (caster stand) can be attached to it, allowing it to be moved according to the situation in which you want to use it. Because of its smooth surface, it can also be used as a children’s toy box or bookshelf.

—— We hope you will continue to use it for a long time to come. Finally, do you have any thoughts about MOHEIM?

I feel that MOHEIM is a brand that blends into a part of daily life without standing out in a positive sense. SWING BIN is another item I am interested in.

Born in 1979. Joined BEAMS in 2002. After working as a staff member at a women’s dress store, became a manager at “International Gallery BEAMS.” Currently, works as a project manager in the department promoting BtoB business, coordinating each project. In his personal life, his first daughter was born in January 2023. While he is a father of one, his hobby of collecting vinyl records has led him to become active as a DJ and radio DJ both in Japan and abroad.
