—— How do you get inspiration to create your works normally?
I take long walks everyday in nature when possible and during these walks many ideas are generated and explored.
—— Any favorite thing/area of your home? How do you like it most?
It is very difficult to choose a favorite thing in our home but I would say we have so many plants and I love them all. Since we have any open floor plan, the kitchen, dining room and living room are all one and this is definitely one of the favorite places to be.
—— How do you normally choose your home/interior items for your home ?
It is an intuitive feeling but generally my criteria has to do with materials and quality.
—— And you chose YUKI glass. Please tell us your first impression and your favorite point of the glass.
My first impression when I saw YUKI glass was “What a beautiful glass! I would love to pour wine into it!” I love how the light moves through the patterns on the YUKI glass and the different motifs created by the light as a result.
—— Anything you would expect for Moheim new item/collection ?
I would like to collaborate to create some new patterns for the glass that have never been done before.

Alexander Kori Girard was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1979. The artist graduated from the School of Visual Arts in New York City in 2001, receiving degrees in both graphic design and illustration.
