A wooden cup carved out of solid Japanese cherry birch. All carefully handmade by Yamanaka lacquer craftsmen, the only people who can achieve such a subtle beauty, smooth finish and thinness.

The elegant grain of the material, and its soft curvy design somehow remind us of deep snow in the Yamanaka district, while also demonstrating the craftsmen's superior woodturning technique.
