    YMY × MOHEIM - Part 1

Founded in 1690, Yamamotoyama is Japan’s oldest sencha merchant—famous for inventing gyokuro and introducing the nation's very first Japanese tea in tea bags. In 2026, Yamamotoyama introduced “YMY.”

Offered as part of YMY’s original teaware collection is the “WATER BOTTLE”—a special collaboration model between MOHEIM and YMY.
To celebrate this special edition, Akiyo Imai, the project's product planner, sat down for a conversation with Shichiro Takeuchi, Creative Director of MOHEIM.

    Takahiro Shibata

WATER BOTTLE is easy to grip and easy to use. I feel upbeat with the gentle colors and form. Just by placing it, it becomes an interior like an object. The use of materials with sustainability in mind also makes me delighted.
