    Founded in 1690, Yamamotoyama is Japan’s oldest sencha merchant—famous for inventing gyokuro and introducing the nation's very first Japanese tea in tea bags. In 2026, Yamamotoyama introduced “YMY.”

    Offered as part of YMY’s original teaware collection is the “WATER BOTTLE”—a special collaboration model between MOHEIM and YMY.
    To celebrate this special edition, Akiyo Imai, the project's product planner, sat down for a conversation with Shichiro Takeuchi, Creative Director of MOHEIM.
